Terms for using Aftertext.

Aftertext helps adults draft possible text-message replies, openers, and follow-ups. The app provides writing assistance only. You are responsible for deciding whether to send, edit, or ignore any draft. Aftertext does not send messages for you.

Aftertext is intended for adults who are at least 18 years old. Do not use Aftertext if you are under 18. Do not use Aftertext to create sexual, romantic, manipulative, or escalating messages involving minors.

Aftertext is not legal, medical, psychological, therapeutic, financial, crisis, employment, or safety advice. If a situation involves danger, abuse, harassment, self-harm, violence, threats, or an emergency, contact appropriate local support, trusted people, or emergency services.

You are responsible for the messages you choose to send and for your interactions with other people. AI-generated drafts may be wrong, incomplete, inappropriate, or unsuitable for your circumstances. Review every draft carefully before using it.

You may not use Aftertext to harass, threaten, blackmail, stalk, impersonate, doxx, pressure, manipulate, deceive, exploit, sexualize minors, evade consent, generate illegal content, attack the service, reverse engineer the service, bypass payment or rescue limits, abuse free rescues, scrape the service, or submit malicious payloads.

Keep your sign-in method secure. You are responsible for activity on your account unless caused by Aftertext's failure to use reasonable security measures. We may suspend or limit access if we detect abuse, fraud, security risk, or violation of these terms.

Message Rescues are digital consumable items used inside Aftertext. Purchases in the native iOS app are handled by Apple through the App Store. Prices, taxes, refunds, family sharing, purchase restoration, and payment disputes may be governed by Apple's App Store rules. Remaining rescues may be lost if you delete your account, except where platform rules or mandatory law require otherwise.

We may update, pause, limit, or discontinue features. We may change prompts, models, pricing, packs, rescue modes, abuse controls, and product behavior. We will try to avoid disrupting paid access, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Aftertext, the app design, prompts, code, brand assets, and service structure belong to Aftertext or its licensors. You may use drafts generated for you for your own personal communication, subject to these terms and applicable law.

Aftertext is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the maximum extent allowed by law. We do not promise that every draft will be accurate, safe for every situation, emotionally correct, effective, or suitable for your personal circumstances.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Aftertext is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or reputational damages, or for losses caused by messages you choose to send. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

These terms are governed by the laws of Norway, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, to the maximum extent allowed by applicable law. Where legally enforceable, disputes shall be handled by the courts of Norway. This clause does not remove mandatory consumer rights, mandatory privacy rights, platform rights, or court protections that apply in your country.
