How to delete your account, what gets deleted, and what may need to be retained.

How to delete your account

  1. Open the Aftertext app.
  2. Go to You.
  3. Open Account Settings when available.
  4. Select Delete account.
  5. Confirm the warning to permanently delete your account.

What gets deleted

  • Your Aftertext account profile.
  • Your sign-in association inside Aftertext where possible.
  • Your Message Rescue balance.
  • Saved Aftertext content if a saved-content feature is enabled.
  • Account preferences connected to your Aftertext account.

What may be kept

Some records may be kept when required for security, fraud prevention, payment verification, tax, accounting, chargeback, legal, or platform compliance reasons. These records may include purchase identifiers, transaction records, product IDs, timestamps, refund or chargeback records, and minimal audit logs. We do not keep raw pasted message text in payment records.

If you cannot access the app

Email aftertextreviewer@gmail.com and ask for account deletion. Include the email address used for your Aftertext account.

The service is operated by Eriksen ENK, trading as Aftertext. Aftertext is the product and marketing name.

Public business address and EU trader display details are pending owner/legal review before broad paid distribution.
