Closetful

Terms of Use

Last updated 3 August 2026

These terms cover your use of the Closetful iPhone app. They are meant to be read, so they are short.

Your licence

You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Closetful on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, redistribute, sell, rent, reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where that restriction is prohibited by law.

Apple's standard licence terms for App Store apps also apply and are available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Where those terms and these ones conflict, Apple's apply.

Your content is yours

The photographs, wardrobe, outfits and records you create belong to you. We claim no rights over them and, because they never leave your device, we have no access to them. You are responsible for having the right to photograph and use the images you add.

Because your wardrobe is stored only on your device, keeping it safe is up to you. It is included in your iPhone's normal backup, and Settings → Export a copy will produce a complete archive at any time. We cannot recover data from a lost, reset or damaged device.

Purchases and refunds

Closetful is free to use up to the item limit stated in the app. Beyond that, a single one-time purchase unlocks the full app. It is not a subscription: nothing renews, nothing recurs, and there is nothing to cancel. The unlock is tied to the Apple Account that bought it and can be restored on your other devices.

All purchases are made through Apple. Refunds are handled by Apple under their policies, not by us — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If something has gone wrong, email us as well and we will help where we can.

Prices may change for future buyers. A change never affects a purchase you have already made.

What Closetful is, and is not

Closetful helps you see and organise clothes you already own. Its colour suggestions are deterministic relationships between the colours it reads from your photographs — they are offered as information, not as professional styling advice, and you are free to ignore them. Automatic background removal depends on Apple's Vision framework and on the photograph; it will not always produce a perfect result.

Availability and changes

We may update the app to add, change or remove features. We aim not to remove anything you rely on, and your existing wardrobe will remain readable and exportable. Because the app works entirely offline, it will keep functioning on your device even if we stop publishing updates.

No warranty

Closetful is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data — which is why export is free and always available.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep all statutory rights that apply to you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of your country of residence and may bring proceedings there.
